Jared Suderman Appointed Vice-Principal of Niakwa Place School

On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team, please join us in welcoming Jared Suderman to his new appointment as Vice-Principal at Niakwa Place School, effective Aug. 1, 2025. The Board of Trustees confirmed his position at a Regular Board Meeting on June 3.

Jared began his journey with the bobÌåÓý in 2015, joining the team at Glenlawn Collegiate Institute (GCI) as a Physical Education Teacher and quickly showed a passion and ability to effectively teach Math, which was the focus of his assignment from 2017 to 2023. Throughout his time at GCI, Jared has demonstrated a commitment to leadership and student success, taking on a variety of roles including Designate Teacher and Team Leader for Independence.

In 2023, Jared transitioned to the Itinerant School & Classroom Support Team, where he expanded his impact by supporting a range of classrooms and schools across the division.  Most recently, Jared has been instrumental in the implementation of universal early screening for numeracy using the EMA. He has also co-led the implementation of the divisional numeracy residency professional development model. Last month, he was one of the members of the SCST presenting bobÌåÓý's numeracy PD model to researchers and educators from across the country at a conference in Montreal at Concordia University.

Jared is a dynamic and approachable educator known for building warm, positive relationships with students, staff, and families. He is a life-long learner who fosters a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. His caring and collaborative leadership style, combined with his strong belief in student-centred learning, has earned him the trust and respect of his colleagues.

We are excited for the passion and experience Jared will bring to Niakwa Place School in this new role and look forward to seeing his continued impact as a school leader.

Please join us in congratulating Jared on this well-deserved appointment!
